Founding of PALMED. The need to develop a common voice to represent healthcare service providers was identified.

PALMED reaches an important milestone, surpassing 50 members. Minister Eugen Nicolăescu actively supported the organization’s development.

Contributed to the implementation of the National Health Status Evaluation Program.

Successfully doubled reimbursement rates for radiology and radiotherapy, and increased those for laboratory services.

Launched the first Health Report under the umbrella of the Health Alliance, with PALMED’s active contribution.

Supported the development of integrated healthcare services as a pillar of a modern health system.

Promoted public-private partnerships in healthcare to enhance access and efficiency.

Increased PALMED’s involvement in public health policy consultations.

Introduced co-payment for hospital services.

Private providers quickly mobilized to take over COVID-19 patients and become support hospitals during the pandemic.

Reimbursement for chronic patients was introduced through monitors. PALMED trained 318 doctors and auxiliary staff in the use of Telemedicine through the EU-funded project “TELEmed – Digital Skills for Employees”. Contributed to the adoption of the Telemedicine Law and advocated for energy price caps for private healthcare providers.
