General Objective
The general objective of the project contributes to the specific objective of the POCU and the call by increasing by 305 the number of employees from SMEs in healthcare who have improved their level of knowledge and digital skills to support the adaptation and development of the company’s activities to telemedicine, industry 4.0 and smart specialization areas.
Main Objective
- Improving the adaptability of SMEs in the healthcare sector in the North-East Region to current and future market changes by developing basic and advanced digital skills of employees.
- Identifying and selecting 305 employees from 35 SMEs operating in the healthcare sector, namely hospitals, clinics, offices, laboratories, etc., which have their registered office or work points in the North-East Region, in order to develop the company’s activities in telemedicine, industry 4.0 and smart specialization areas.
- The areas of smart specialization in current activities, but also those to which healthcare SMEs are supported to adapt to the efficient and rational use of resources.
- Contributing to the development of new healthcare technologies, processes, products and services, as well as models for providing medical services through telemedicine and technologies contributes to the efficient use of resources.
Targeted Locations
- Bacau County: Bacau City, Moinesti City, Onesti City;
- Botosani County: Botosani City, Dorohoi City
- Iasi County: Iasi City, Pascani City; (approximately 50% of the SMEs and correspondingly approximately 50% of the people in the target group will be from SMEs with their registered office or work point in the county/municipality of Iasi)
- Neamt County: Piatra Neamt City, Roman City;
- Suceava County: Campulung Moldovenesc City, Falticeni City, Radauti City, Suceava City, Vatra Dornei City;
- Vaslui County: Birlad City, Husi City, Vaslui City.
Target Group
305 employees from 35 SMEs with an individual employment contract (full/part-time)
- have their registered office in one of the 6 counties of the North-East region
- main or secondary activity in the healthcare sector (authorized CAEN: 8610, 8621, 8622, 8623, 8690, 8710, 8720, 8730)
- SMEs and individuals operate in the healthcare sector and in one of the smart specialization areas in healthcare according to the National Research, Development and Innovation Strategy 2014-2020
- Average annual number of employees: <250
- Annual turnover: <50 million euros or the total assets do not exceed the equivalent in lei of 43M euros
- 50% of the people in the target group will be from SMEs with their registered office or work point in the county/municipality of Iasi
- Have high school, post-secondary, university, postgraduate and doctoral studies (ISCED 3-7)
- Have professions that correspond to the specific activities of companies in the healthcare sector (general/specialized medical assistance, biochemist, laboratory technician, beautician, nutritionist, kinesiotherapist, specialist/primary care physician, etc.) or support activities (accountant, financier, marketing, commercial, procurement, human resources, secretariat, quality, etc.)
- 61 people (20%) will be from the general/strategic and operational management/leadership categories, respectively general management: general manager etc., strategic management: development director etc., operational/executive management: medical director, human resources director etc., department/office manager: head nurse, head physician, head of marketing, RMC etc.
- 244 people (80%) from the execution categories, namely, general/specialized medical assistance, biochemist, laboratory technician, beautician, nutritionist, kinesiotherapist, specialist/primary care physician, etc. or support activities (accountant, financier, marketing, commercial, procurement, human resources, secretariat, quality, etc.)
- The project promotes equal opportunities, so min. 128 of the beneficiaries (41.97%) will be women and at least 35 of the beneficiaries (11.48%) will be elderly employees (55-64 years old).
- Through the jobs they hold, they have an important role in:
• company development activities,
• searching for new solutions (adapting to the new epidemiological context, maintaining activity at programmed efficiency and productivity parameters,
• covering the labor shortage etc)
• introducing digital products or services (telemedicine etc).
